This is a wonderful pair of clip-on sterling silver earrings made in Taxco, Mexico in the style of Margot de Taxco. Each is stamped Mexico TL-52 925. The T system of marking was instituted during the late 1970s, replacing the Eagle assay mark. The T stands for Taxco, the L-52 for the maker, who I was unable to identify, and the 925 for sterling quality (925 parts per 1000 of silver). Each earring measures 1 3/4 in height and has a width of 3/4. One weighs 10 grams while the other weighs 9.5 grams - normal to have a difference as they are hand made. Both are in excellent condition with no noted scratching or wear.
This is a beautiful pair of Mexican sterling silver earrings - classy style!
