Vintage 1960s Suitcase Striped Carry On Travel Bag Luggage AD Sutton New York

This is a 1960s vintage suitcase or travel bag. The suitcase is made of striped fabric backed on the interior by red floral embossed vinyl. It has a front compartment that unzips diagonally and has a red top handle. The striping is in tones of red, blue, yellow and black. It sits on four red vinyl plastic feet. It measures 17 by 12 by 4 1/4 at its base. It is in very clean condition, looks like it saw little, if any, use - the key is missing, but the zippers and the lock closure work well. The label on the interior reads Made in Japan RN13126 - the RN number belongs to Abraham D Sutton of Manhattan, New York, an importation company founded in 1909.
