Vintage 1930s Windsor Depression Glass Green Vaseline Cake Plate Handled

This is a handled cake plate made by Jeannette Glass in the Windsor pattern. Jeannette made this pattern between 1936 and 1946. The glass is made of green vaseline - note how the piece glows under a UV light (see photo). The piece measures 10 1/4 in diameter and 12 1/2 in width across its handles. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear except for some roughness to the interior rim, noticeable by touch, very difficult to see. This particular piece is harder to find in green, not as common as the pink version - nice addition to either a collection in this pattern or to a vaseline glass collection!
