Vintage 1930s Aynsley Bone China Tea Cup & Saucer Green Floral Lace C848

This is a lovely cup and saucer set made by Aynsley. The cup is decorated with a floral spray on the interior and finished with a beautiful green colour that is detailed with gold floral lace and trimmed in gold - the saucer is similarly decorated. The mark on the underside of each piece was used circa 1934. Both pieces are hand inscribed with the model number C848. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - there is a tiny indent on the bottom base of the saucer that I think might be original to the making of the piece (see photo of underside of saucer), very minor in any case. Both pieces ping beautifully when tapped. The saucer measures 5 3/4 in diameter and the cup has a height of 2 1/4 and a top diameter of 3 3/4. This is a beautiful display cup and saucer, very pretty colour and lovely floral decoration!
