Mid Century Enamel on Copper Plate Swirl Pattern Signed Deschatelets 10 Bowl Shape

This is an enamel on copper plate or shallow bowl decorated in a striking orange, gold and dark brown colour combination in a swirl pattern. The piece is signed Deschatelets on its underside - Deschatelets was most likely a Quebec artist. The piece most likely dates to the 1960s. It measures 9 7/8 across its top and 10 1/8 following its contour as, as mentioned, it is made in a shallow bowl-like form. The plate is affixed to a wood base that has a hook on it, so it can be displayed either on a tabletop or one a wall. It is in very good condition with no cracks or crazing, except for a tiny chip on its edge, very minor.
This is a wonderful swirl design on an enamel and copper plate, great colour combination!
