Huge Vintage 1920s Flapper Button Sunburst Celluloid 2 7/8 Diameter

This is a 1920s vintage celluloid button that a flapper would have worn on a dress at the side of the hip. The button is quite large, measuring 2 7/8 in diameter. It is printed in a sunburst pattern - patches of red and yellow against a gold celluloid that is formed in a rayed pattern. The printed celluloid is wrapped around a black celluloid back and has a metallic appearance to it. There are two holes drilled in the centre.
These large buttons are difficult to find - great addition to a button collection or simply to use on a garment!
