Hocking Old Colony Pink Depression Glass Candy Jar and Cover Open Lace Edge

This is an Old Colony pink depression glass candy jar and cover, made by the Hocking Glass Co. between 1935 and 1938. Old Colony is also known as Lace Edge or Open Edge. The candy jar measures 7 across to top including the open edge and 6 in height to the top of the finial of the cover. It does have chipping - about 4 chips to the underside of the open edge and one tiny one to the underside edge of the cover (see close-up photos for all damage). The chip to the cover could be sanded if it bothered you, but it is quite minor
You see this candy jar from time to time, but the cover appears to be very difficult to come by, so this is a nice addition just for the cover, although the candy jar displays quite well as is!
