Antique Victorian 9k Gold Button Hook Chatelaine Miniature Doll Sized

This is a Victorian era button hook that is made of 9 karat gold. This Victorian button hook is marked 9/375 on the top ring (see close-up photo). It is part of a collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. The buttonhook is doll sized, measuring 2 in length - it weighs 2 grams. It probably was meant to be attached to a chatelaine and used for blouse buttons, maybe gloves, but would be cute to pose with a Victorian doll. This size of buttonhook would have been used as an aid in putting on gloves. It is in excellent condition.
