Antique Sterling Silver Tea Strainer Webster North Attleboro MA

This is a wonderful sterling silver tea strainer made by the Webster Co of North Attleboro, MA. The piece is made of a pierced bowl and handle and tab that one would place across the opening of a cup while water is being poured through the tea held in the strainer bowl. The handle is stamped on the underside with the Webster arrow mark. The piece measures 6 1/4 in length across including the tab and handle, and weighs 25 grams, almost an ounce - the bowl has a diameter of 2 3/8 and 3/4 in depth. It is in very good condition with the exception of a few tiny dings - it is monogrammed with the letter R.
