Antique Rowland & Marsellus Souvenir Plate Haverhill Massachusetts Blue and White Staffordshire

This is an antique blue and white Haverhill Massachusetts souvenir plate made in Staffordshire for New York importing firm Rowland & Marsellus. The centre of the plate has a view of Merrimack Street while the rim displays various Haverhill landmarks such as Whittiers Birthplace, the Post Office, Groveland Bridge, Winnikenni Castle, Bradford Academy, the High School, etc. The plate measures 10 in diameter. The underside is stamped The Rowland & Marsellus Co Staffordshire England Designed & Imported By Simonds & Adams Haverhill Mass. Simonds & Adams was in business from 1905 until 1924, so this plate dates to within that time frame. It is in very good condition - there are two stress lines on the underside rim (see close-up photo), but these are not hairlines and not visible on the top side as I believe that these are original to the manufacture of the plate. This Haverhill souvenir plate doesnt appear to be common - nice display plate or addition to a collection!
