Antique Heinrich & Co Selb Porcelain Cabinet Plate Hand Painted c 1911

This is a hand plated cabinet display plate made by Heinrich & Co of Selb, Bavaria. The absence of the word Germany dates the mark on the underside as circa 1911 - a similar mark was used during the 1930s, but incorporated Germany under the word Bavaria. The plate measures 11 in diameter and weighs 1 1/2 lbs. The scene is of a man in a canoe on a lake by a house under a partially clouded moonlit sky, all hand painted in a monochrome brown colour.. a lot of work went into painting this....nice piece to display in the cabin or anywhere else appropriate!
