Antique German Jasperware Wall Plaque Neo Classical 3 Graces Schafer & Vater 9

This is an antique porcelain Jasperware wall plaque produced most likely by the German manufacturer Schafer & Vater of Volkstedt. The piece is decorated with a neo-classical Greek scene featuring the 3 Graces, posed with Cupids. The Graces represented love, desire and affection - you can tell which is which by how each is posed with the Cupid that each is interacting with. The piece measures 9 in height and 7 3/4 in width and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or pronounced wear. It is unmarked, but this is not unusual with Schafer & Vater. There is a ribbon attached for hanging the plaque - you may want to use it or something more secure for hanging the piece. Very ornate, and a lovely depiction - beautiful wall display!
