Antique Childrens Illustrated Book Abroad by Thos Crane & Ellen Houghton 1882

This is an antique childrens book titled Abroad by Thomas Crane and Ellen E Houghton, published in 1882 by Marcus Ward & Co of London, Belfast and New York. A label on the front end leaf reads J.A. Pritchard Royal Circulating Library 14 North St, Brighton. The book is about taking a trip from London to France. it has lovely and very colourful illustrations throughout the book. The book is in very good condition with edge wear to the hard covers, separation of pages in a few places and some interior smudging and linear ink marks on one page (see photo). Still, the illustrations are charming and look great, beautifully printed in an attractive colour palette. It measures 8 3/4 by 7 1/2 closed and consists of 56 pages plus cover.
Very nice collectible childrens book, especially considering its age.
