Antique Capodimonte Porcelain Plate Italian Neo-Classic Scenes Hand Painted 9

This is a wonderful antique Capodimonte plate featuring hand painted raised neo-classical scenes around the rim, hand painted flowers in the center and gold and black detailing in the center bordering the rim. The painting is executed in multiple colors and is quite detailed - please view the enlarged photos by clicking on any photo in order to have a close-up look at the fantastic detail in the painting. The backside of the plate is stamped in blue underglaze with a seven prong crown over N mark - Ive attached a chart of Capodimonte marks and this seven pronged crown mark is shown as a variation. The crowned N mark was often imitated so I cant say that this mark was used by the original Naples factory, but that being said, this certainly is made in the Capodimonte style and is of high quality. The plate is also hand inscribed with the numeral II and the porcelain is stamped with the number 2445. The plate measures 9 in diameter and weighs 11.6 oz. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or pronounced wear. The plate was acquired many years ago from a well-to-do Italian family. This is a wonderful display plate and a very nice addition to a Capodimonte collection.....
