Antique Baby Bowl Dish Plate Children with Chickens

This is a round bowl or baby dish decorated in its centre with a depiction of children with a chicken and her chicks. The children are depicted with adult looking faces - they almost look like little people rather than children. The piece has a blue lustre finish to the top edge and aside from the litho is white. The piece measures 7 in diameter by 1 1/2 high and weighs 1 lb and 4 oz. It has been well used, so does have wear and scratches to the litho. The scratching is definitely present, but looks more pronounced in the close-up photos - it displays a little better under normal real life viewing. The piece is unstamped on its underside but probably was made in Germany. It dates to the early 20th century, circa 1900-1910.
Despite the wear, this is a collectible piece - wonderful addition to a childrens dish collection!
