Antique American Sterling Silver Button Hook Six Sided 6 3/4

This is an antique sterling silver button hook that is marked simply with Sterling, so most likely of American origin. It has a wonderful six sided flared handle with an engraved rounded top. This antique sterling silver button hook is part of the collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. It measures 6 3/4 in length - the sterling silver part is from the marking and up and has a length of 3 1/4 while the rest is steel. It weighs 26 grams (close to an ounce). It is in very good condition.
