Vintage Leather Vest Gypsy Leather Lancaster NY Dragon Fire

This is a vintage leather vest made by Gypsy Leather of Lancaster, New York, probably during the late 1980s or early 1990s. The upper back features a suede cutout of a dragon and the front lapels have cutouts of flames.  It has metal conchos at the front with laces.  I think that it can be worn either by a man or woman, but it would depend on one’s measurements - it is sized as a men’s size 42.  This vintage leather vest snaps to the right with a single bridge at the waist.  It is all leather, back and front, and is lined in black acetate.  It has laced side panels.

Sizing: The size tag reads 42, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  16 1/2” across the top

Chest: 42" around, taken under the arms

Waist: 42" around

Length: 21 1/2“, measured flat at the back from the neck

Condition: This vintage leather vest is in very good condition with no wear or tear and is free of stains or odour. The only issue is a broken lace at the left, but there is extra lacing at the bottom, so just needs to be re-laced.  Otherwise, this vintage leather vest looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
