Antique 1920s Mens Oxford Shoes Size Small

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is a wonderful pair of antique 1920s mens Oxford shoes, possibly early 30s,.  These 1920s mens Oxford shoes are quite small, so may have belonged to a youth or simply a man with small feet.  The shoes have interesting stitched detail on the quarters and a rounded toe box.  They have sewn-in leather soles and a leather heel with Neolite rubber cap - the Neolite rubber is mostly likely a replacement.  There are no stampings on the interior of the shoes.

Color: Black

Sizing: No size in indicated on these 1920s mens Oxford shoes, but I’m calculating a size  7.5 to 8 - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Insoles:  9 7/8” - 10” in length from the tip of the toe to the back of the insole

Soles:  10 1/2” in length from the tip of the toe’s sew line to the back of the heel

Sole width: 3 1/2” at their widest between sew lines

Condition:  These 1920s mens Oxford shoes are in very good condition - the soles do demonstrate some evidence of use (see photo). The uppers are in very nice condition with only minor creasing from use.  The interiors are also in very good condition.

This is a wonderful example of a pair of working class 1920s mens Oxford shoes that would have been everyday good shoes…rare!
