Vintage 1970s Thigh High Boots Italian White Leather 31” T

This is a pair of 1970s thigh high boots made of white leather in Italy for Montreal shoe boutique Bus Palladium.  These 1970s thigh high boots are really tall, measuring 31” in height.  They feature a 4 1/2” tall stiletto heel. They have leather interiors and leather soles.  They have a slightly rounded pointy toe and a YKK zipper at the ankle area. These 1970s thigh high boots come in their original box, but the box is torn and dilapidated.  The box reads “Vitello Blanco”, which translates to White Calf.

Sole stamp:  Bus Palladium Made in Italy.  Bus Palladium was a Montreal ladies’ shoe boutique founded in 1972.    

Sizing:  The size stamp on the box reads as an Italian size 39 and the soles on these 1970s thigh high boots have been changed from a 38 to a 39 (see close-up photo) - I think that they are about a US size 7 1/2 to 8M, but you have to take the thickness of your calf into consideration. The soles measure about 10 1/2” in length, following the contour, and have a width of about 3” at the widest area.  As mentioned, the boots have a height of 31” and measure 16 1/2” in circumference just below the slits at the top back, which measure 4 1/8”.

Condition:  These 1970s thigh high boots are in very good condition - the leather soles display practically no use, and the uppers are very clean but may display a slight bit of yellow toning in places, very minor.  The interiors are also very clean.   

This is a very nice quality pair of 1970s thigh high boots - excellent Italian workmanship and extreme height!
