This is a wonderful modernist Taxco cuff bracelet made of Mexican sterling silver.  The interior of this modernist Taxco cuff is stamped with the Mexican Eagle assay mark with the number 192, difficult to read in my photo, but definitely 192. The Eagle Assay mark was used between 1948 and circa 1970,  Below the Eagle mark it reads “Taxco Mex F(C)?”, difficult to read due to the stamping.  Below that, it reads “Sterling Mexico”.  The bracelet is hinged and closes with a ball that inserts through a corresponding opening - this is both functional and the focal design element of the bracelet along with its shape.  The photos don’t do it justice as the reflection of the silver is whitened and every trace of tarnish shows - in person, this is very shiny and one does not notice any tarnish.  It has an inside circumference of 7” and weighs 50 grams (1.8 oz).  This modernist Taxco cuff is in very good condition with no noted scratching or wear.

This is a wonderful sterling silver modernist Taxco cuff bracelet - modern form, although dating to the 60s or early 70s, this looks like it could have been designed now!
