This is a lovely vintage 1950s Sherman rhinestone necklace signed in an oval plaque on the back its pendant - the use of a script signature within an oval dates the necklace to the 1950s.  This Sherman rhinestone necklace is made in a simple “chain” construction, each link studded with a prong set clear crystal rhinestone.  The front has a rounded pendant shape with navette and teardrop rhinestones.  Sherman used only Swarovski rhinestones - the stones on this necklace have beautiful reflection and sparkle.   The necklace has a rhodium plated setting.  The necklace measures 15.5” long, laid out straight.  It is in very good condition with no scratching, replaced stones or repairs, but does have some plate wear to the signature plaque.
