This is a wonderful 1950s rockabilly pullover sweater.  This 1950s rockabilly pullover is made in a V neck style with a two button and wool loop closure at the bottom.  The body of the sweater is knit in a combination of recessed cream white squares within black while the bib is knit with a broad cream white stripe against solid black.  The cuffs and bottom of the sweater are made of ribbed wool. 

Label: Regency by Regent-Knit 100% Pure Wool Blue Surf Washable.  Regent Knitting Mills was founded in St Jerome Quebec in 1916 - they closed their doors in 1974.

Sizing:  No size is indicated on this 1950s rockabilly pullover, and although this should fit a medium size (probably a US size 38, maybe a size 40), please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the stretch of the knit into consideration:

Shoulders: 17” across seam-to-seam, unstretched

Sleeves: 22 1/2” long

Sleeve Inseam: 19” long

Chest: 40” around, taken under the arms, unstretched

Bottom: 29” around the ribbed wool, unstretched, stretches out to 38” max

Overall length: 28", measured flat at the back from the top of the collar to the bottom of the sweater

Condition:  This 1950s rockabilly pullover is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour. This doesn’t look to have seen much use and was well stored over the years.
