This is a pair of unused 1950s/60s era pale yellow cotton gloves that were made in Canada by Paris Glove. The gloves have steel bead accents along the openings and along the top of the gloves. These gloves came with a lot of gloves that I acquired, most unused and all dating to the 1950s and 60s. They are in like-new condition, and they are still in their original Morgans box - Morgans was a higher end department store located in downtown Montreal. They have been well stored, so are in excellent condition - please ignore any colour shading in the photos that were caused by lighting conditions. The interior of the left glove has a label that reads Paris Glove 6. Paris Glove was founded by two Czech immigrants to Canada, who worked in the glove industry in France during the 1930s, and established their glove business in Montreal in 1945. They are one of the only North American manufacturers of their age still in business today.
Size: The label indicates size 6, but please rely on the following measurements. They have a length of 14 1/2 to the middle finger. They measure 3 across the palm - although there is some stretch, please be aware of this measurement, perhaps measure another pair of gloves that you may own and know that new gloves need to be worked in. The middle finger measures 3 in length.
This is a very nice quality pair of unused vintage gloves as one would expect from Paris Glove manufacture of the period - classy looking gloves!
