This is a wonderful pair of vintage ladies’ long brown leather evening gloves that are unused and still attached with their original thread. They are in excellent condition as they are unused - you can see the impression of the lace cutwork on the opposite side, but this will disappear with use. They are decorated with cutwork that is filled with weblike lace and with abstract forms that are stitch embroidered. The interior of the right glove is stamped “Made in Italy Washable” as well as with the size, maybe 7, crossed out in white. These came with a lot of 1950s/1960s gloves, most unused.
Size: Most of the gloves in the lot were size 6 1/2 to 7, and although I think that these are a size 6 1/2, please rely on the following measurements for fit, noting that the leather still needs to be stretched out as they are new. They have a length of 13 5/8” to the middle finger and a palm width of 3 1/8”. The middle finger has a length of 3 1/4”.
This is a wonderful pair of vintage gloves, very nice quality - you can’t buy quality leather evening gloves like this anymore without spending a small fortune....
