Vintage 1950s Sherman Rhinestone Brooch Starburst Shape Clear Stones

This is a very attractive vintage 1950s Sherman rhinestone brooch signed on its back. This Sherman rhinestone brooch is made in a starburst form with a 2 or 3 tier construction in a round shape. It features clear rhinestones in baguette, square and navette shapes with a large round rhinestone at its centre, all prong set in a silver toned rhodium metal. Sherman used Swarovski rhinestones exclusively and so this brooch really sparkles. The signature is within an oval shaped plaque which dates the piece to the 1950s. The brooch measures 2 in diameter and has a depth of about 3/8. It is in very good condition with no missing or replaced stones or wear.
