Vintage 1930s MIJ Sugar Shaker Muffineer Enamel Painted Peach Lustre Made in Japan

This is a wonderful 1930s or 40s vintage sugar shaker, aka muffineer or sugar caster, finished in a peach lustre glaze and enamel painted in a floral / cherry blossom design in white and black. The piece is unmarked on the underside but is undoubtably made in Japan. It measures 6 5/8 in height with a diameter of about 2 5/8 at its widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear, but a bit of the cork stopper is missing, very minor. Nice decorative display piece - lovely addition to a sugar shaker collection!
