Loro Piana Wool Cashmere Coat Custom Tailor Overcoat Mens Topcoat Size L

This is a pre-owned mens wool and cashmere blended coat made by a Montreal tailor using fabric made by Italian luxury house Loro Piana.  Loro Piana was founded during the early 19th century and produces exceptional quality cashmere and wool.  The coat is made in a classic style, with peak lapels, a six button double breasted closure, three buttons at the cuffs, flapped pocket at either side and a 17” centre vent at the back.  The coat is fully lined in a black satin rayon fabric.  There are two inner pockets.  The fabric is soft and has a beautiful finish - superb Italian quality.  The tailor’s label has a date of “2/99” on it - it’s unclear if this was made for the tailor himself.

Colour:  dark tone of blue that is almost black

Sizing: The coat is custom made, but it should fit a US size 42/44 and appears to be quite long, so probably for a tall person, although the sleeves are not particularly long.  Please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the coat and the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders:  20” across, from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  24” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  15 1/2”

Chest: 48” around 

Waist: 46” around

Length: 50”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in beautiful condition with no signs of wear, tear, stains or odours - really, I don’t think that this coat saw much use at all.  The fabric has a beautiful finish to it - this is very clean.
