Art Deco 1930s MIJ Sugar Shaker Muffineer Made in Japan

This is a wonderful 1930s vintage sugar shaker, aka muffineer, finished in a light yellow lustre glaze, painted in mottled green and black and with a flower at its centre front. The piece is marked on the underside in red with Made in Japan in a circle that has a fan shape within. It measures 5 7/8 in height with a diameter of about 2 3/4 at its widest. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks - the top hole is still plugged and the front hole is irregular, but this is original to the manufacture of the piece. Nice decorative display piece - lovely addition to a sugar shaker collection!
