Antique Enamel Glass Barrel Decanter Port Wine Dispenser

This is a lovely antique glass barrel decanter meant to dispense port wine. The glass is clear in a satin finish and decorated with raised red glass grapes and with enamelling in tones of green, orange, white and brown, meant to represent leaves and vines. It has a metal spigot for dispensing the contents and a top opening for filling the piece. The original cork is missing, but you could easily replace this. There is a metal bracket around the upper barrel and around the base of the piece. The barrel measures 7 in height and about 4 1/4 in diameter at its widest. It is in very good condition - no chips or cracks but there are two red grapes missing, quite minor. This is a lovely antique piece of glass, probably more of a display piece than a functional one - very pretty!
