1930s Art Deco Porcelain Fruit Bowl Hand Painted Poppy Flowers Lustre Glaze Made in Japan

This is a gorgeous fruit bowl that is hand painted with poppy flowers and decorated in the art deco style. The interior has a lustre finish and the exterior is finished in peach lustre. The interior is painted is bright tones of orange, red, blue, green and violet against a silver grey background. The bowl is made in a quatrefoil shape with flared rim. The bowl has a top diameter of 9 3/4 and a height of 2 7/8. It is in very good condition with the exception of an X shaped impact crack on the underside - this is not visible on the interior (see last two close-up photos). Otherwise, there is no pronounced wear, chips or other cracks. The underside is stamped in red with Made in Japan - the quality of the decoration reminds me of Noritake production.
