This is a wonderful late 1960s era sweater dress made a mini dress length but could be worn as a top over jeans. The label reads “Ulla Heathcote for Crocodile London”. Ulla Heathcote was a successful fashion designer working out of London, even though she was of German origin. I was advised by a lady who has kept her Ulla Heathcote dress that she purchased hers in the late 1960s when she lived in London. I also found a 1972 article talking about her sweater designs for The Crocodile, which was a shop specializing in sweaters, located on Fulham Road in London. This sweater dress is a wool knit in a sleeveless pullover style, fitted at the chest, somewhat tapered at the waist and flaring out to the hemline so that the piece falls in drapes. Both the upper chest and bottom of the sweater dress are knit with a pattern in pinkish red, beige and grey.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this sweater dress, and although this should fit a small size, please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar sweater dress that you own):
Bust: 32” around, unstretched
Waist: 32” around, unstretched
Hips: 38” around, unstretched
Bottom: 52” around, unstretched
Length: 31” long

Condition: It is in very clean condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odours - I noticed two or three small pulls on the interior (see when inspecting the knit with a light behind it, but these are not really noticeable under normal viewing. Otherwise, this sweater looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.

This is a very cute knit sweater dress - wonderful late 1960s design!
