Vintage 50s Stroller Wool Coat Large White Fox Fur Collar M

This is a vintage 50s era wool coat made in a stroller style with large white fox fur collar.   The wool is made in a bouclé texture in a greenish grey tone.  This wool coat has a slash pocket built into either side.  It has no closures so is meant to be worn simply overlapped.  The wool coat is cut with a widening flare down to its to-the-knee length and its sleeves are also cut full.  The shoulders are padded.  It is fully lined in two toned rayon fabric that is interlined for extra warmth.

Sizing: There is no size label in this wool coat, and although this should fit a size medium, please note the following measurements for fit, keeping the thickness of the fabric and the style of the coat in mind:

Shoulders:  15 1/2” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 18” from the end of one pad to the outside end of the other pad

Sleeves:  24” long from the shoulder seam, 21 1/2” from the shoulder pad

Sleeve Inseam:  16”

Bust: 44” around, taken under the arms, should be loose

Waist: 50” around, with a normal overlap

Bottom:  68” around, with a normal overlap

Overall length: 41"

Condition:  This wool coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or stains but the white fox fur has yellowed, more particularly to the interior neckline.  I’ve seen cleaners offered on the internet can whiten fox fur, so this could be an option should the yellowing bother you.  In addition, there is a bit of matting at the centre back edge.
