NOS 1970s Vintage Peignoir Set Black Sheer Nightgown Panties

This is a vintage peignoir set consisting of a negligee/nightie, peignoir and pair of panties, part of old store stock that I’ve acquired.  The hang tags are missing, but the labels are crisp, and this vintage peignoir set obviously was never used.  The nightie to this vintage peignoir set is sleeveless and has a low cut front and open back with lace trim.  It has an empire waist that is decorated with a matching bow.  The peignoir has wrist length sleeves that are trimmed in lace and does up at the waist with a thin roped belt.  The panties are trimmed in lace and open at the sides.

Makers Label:  Juliette Original. Small. Black. Model 8032. CA 01179. Made in Canada.  The CA number belongs to a company called Bridal Creations, located in Montreal.

Content label:  100% polyester 

Union label:  ILGWU, used between 1968 and 1984

Sizing: Size small is marked, but please note the following measurements for fit:

Peignoir:

Bust:  35”-36” around, depending on overlap

Waist:  38” around, meant to be cinched with the belt

Length:  56”

Nightie:

Bust:  33”-34”, difficult to ascertain due to open sides

Empire waist:  26”

True waist:  32”

Hips:  Full, meant to fall loosely

Length:  55” 

Panties:  band measures 21”, stretches out to as much as 36”

Condition: This vintage peignoir set is in excellent condition with no noted wear or defect.
