This is a lovely 60s chiffon dress made of silk printed in a floral design in tones of blue against tones of green and brown.  It is made in a sheath style, with cap sleeves, a defined waist,  boat neckline and below the knee length.  It has horizontal box pleats from the bust down to the hemline.  This 60s chiffon dress is constructed with silk chiffon over a copper brown rayon base.  The dress does up the back with a nylon zipper.

 

Label:  Sabrina Fashions Queen Elizabeth Hotel Montreal.  The Queen Elizabeth was completed in 1958 and had many famous guests and was the site of the famous 1969 bed-in for peace held by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Sizing:  There is no size label on this 60s chiffon dress, and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (please measure your body or a similar garment that you might own for comparison):

Shoulders:  17 1/2” across the shoulders straps

Bust: 37” around

Waist: 28” 

Hips:  37”,

Overall length: 39“, measured flat - there is an extra 4 1/2” of fabric in the hem

Condition: This 60s chiffon dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining, soiling or odour.
