This is a very attractive vintage 1940s lace blouse made in a cream white cotton machine lace.  This vintage 1940s lace blouse has a high set narrow V neckline with collar, short sleeves and a scalloped edge.  it is unlined, so therefore would require a camisole.  It does up with four mother-of-pearl buttons down the front along with a snap at the bottom.

Age: 1940s, maybe early 50s

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this vintage 1940s lace blouse should fit a small to medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 16” across seam-to-seam

Bust: 36”, taken under the arms

Waist: 31”

Overall length: 20"

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or odours.  There is some yellowing to the back of the collar and some slight yellowing to the sleeves, barely perceptible.  The blouse has been laundered, but further treatment to the collar and sleeves should eliminate any yellowing.

This is a very pretty vintage 1940s lace blouse - hard to find this particular style of lace blouse anymore, so a nice addition to a wardrobe!
