This is a vintage Fall / Winter 1995 Spiegel catalog featuring a young Heidi Klum. It was the first US appearance of a very young Heidi Klum and also contains other well-known models Jaime King, Bridget Moynahan, Yasmeen Ghauri, Kristen Zang and Manon von Gerkan. Klum had won a German modelling contest in 1992 at the age of 18 and modelled in Europe for a few years to great success before going to the US to pursue a career, doing only catalog work for the first number of years. She eventually was booked by Victoria’s Secret, remaining an Angel until 2010, and made a breakthrough by appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1998. Spiegel discontinued the production of its Fall catalog in favour of a digital version in 1997, the first retailer to do so. This 1995 catalog consists of 608 pages - 262 pages of fashion and the rest showcasing homewares - a young Heidi Klum appears on five different pages. It measures 9 1/8” by 13 1/8” and is in very good condition with only a tiny bit of corner wear at the back spine.
