This is a vintage Yohji Yamamoto sweater made in an off-white, oversized, open-front cardigan style. The code on the Japanese side of the label dates the sweater to Fall / Winter 1994. It is made in an open knit from a blend of 81% wool and 19% nylon. The loose-knit texture provides a soft and slightly fluffy appearance. This vintage Yohji Yamamoto sweater was manufactured in Japan and is labeled as size "M" (Medium) - given its full, oversized cut, it probably would accommodate a large size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: Due to the raglan cut of the sleeve, the shoulders are estimated at 17” across
Sleeves: 29” from the estimated shoulder / 37 1/2” from the mid neck / 75” from one cuff, over the shoulders, to the opposite cuff
Sleeve inseam: 20”
Bust: 50”
Waist: 46” with a normal overlap
Bottom: 52” (no overlap)
Length: 34”
Condition: This vintage Yohji Yamamoto sweater is in very good condition, looks like it saw very little use. The open knit lends itself to having some larger spaces, but this is natural to the manufacture of the sweater.
