Vintage Smoking Jacket Striped Cotton Velvet Majestic for AG Grand Luxe Size L

This is a very nice quality vintage smoking jacket made by Canadian loungewear manufacturer Majestic for Montreal based retailer A. Gold & Sons Ltd. It is made of a finely striped cotton velvet in tones of purple, blue, red, olive green and black.  It has a solid black velvet shawl collar and solid black velvet cuffs.  It has an applied patch pocket at either side and cinches closed with a matching belt.  The jacket is unlined. 

Label: AG Grand Luxe Collection Internationale.  AG stands for A. Gold.  I’m unsure of exact age, but probably 1980s/90s. 

Content label:  100% Cotton. Made in Canada CA00081.  The CA00081 textile manufacturer identification label is assigned to Majestic, which specializes in robes and smoking jackets.

Sizing: Size L for large is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 20” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves: 24 1/2” long

Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/4” long

Chest: 45”, taken under the arms and depending on overlap

Waist: 43”, but meant to be cinched

Overall length: 31"

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors.
