Vintage Scottish Kilt MacKenzie Tartan 29 Inch Waist
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is an older Scottish kilt - difficult to date precisely, but it definitely has some age, perhaps 1930s, hard to know for sure. The wool is woven in the MacKenzie tartan pattern. The kilt is pleated at the back and does up to the right with two leather belts at the waist, one at the side and the other through a slot at the opposite back side. The interior back is re-inforced with a cotton panel.
Sizing: This is very small and might be better suited for a youth or a lady, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Waist: 27” to 29” around, by adjusting the belts
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear or tear and is free of stains or odors - the only “defect” is a pinhead sized hole in the fabric at the front panel, probably caused by a kilt pin, really minor. Otherwise, this is in clean condition and has been well stored over the years.
This is a very nice quality kilt - hard to find nice old examples like this!
