From the 1970s, here is a very nice quality 100% pure camel hair sweater made in Scotland for S. Fisher, located in the Burlington Arcade. The sweater is made in a simple cardigan style with a V shaped neckline and five button closure. There are no pockets. It has ribbing at the cuffs, the edge of the opening and the bottom of the sweater. The buttons are leather covered. The sweater is in a tan brown colour with a beige argyle pattern on the front. The camel hair is of a good thickness. It is difficult to date precisely, but I would think either 1960s or 70s.
Label: S. Fisher Burlington Arcade 100% Pure Camel Hair Made in Scotland. S. Fisher was founded in 1960. Burlington Arcade, is one of the oldest European “shopping malls”, dating to 1819 and located in London, England.

This is a beautiful quality sweater - they don’t make camel hair of this quality any longer, nice argyle pattern, should provide snuggly warmth, nice acquisition!
