This is a vintage mod 60s ladies’ leather jacket made in an attractive maroon colour. The jacket has a wide rounded collar and rounded lapels and does up with 5 silver snaps. There is a flapped faux pocket at either side of the chest. It is lined in orange rayon woven fabric.
Label: None, probably custom made by a leather specialist
Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a size small, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the leather into consideration:
Shoulders: 14 3/4” across from seam to seam
Sleeves: 23 1/2” from the shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 16”
Bust: 33” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 27” around
Bottom: 31” around
Overall length: 21"
Condition: It is in very good condition with a few wear spots - on the sleeve and the opening edge and a couple of “picks” at the lower front (see close-up photos).
This is a great looking jacket - nice mod styling in an attractive colour!
