Vintage Manuel Ritz Pipo Jacket Shiny Blue Black Check Sport Coat Blazer Size S

This is a wonderful men’s sport coat/blazer/jacket made under the Manuel Ritz Pipo brand name - for more on the history of the brand read further below.  The piece features a shiny blue and black checked pattern.  It has padded shoulders and notched lapels.  The jacket does up with one of two button at the front.  It has a jetted chest pocket and jetted pocket at either side (no flap).  It is unlined. 

Age: probably late 1980s or early 1990s

Label: Manuel Ritz Pipo.  This brand was established during the early 1970s, inspired by the works by an Andalusian artist of the same name.  Originally manufactured during the 80s and early 90s in Italy by Ultra S.p.a., the brand was discontinued and then revived in 2008 by Manifattura Paoloni.

Fabric label:  Ultra S.p.a. Made in Italy 100% Polyester Lining 100% Viscose

Sizing: Size S for small is indicated, and although it should fit a small size, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the cut and fabric into account:

Shoulders:  18” from seam-top-seam

Sleeves: 24 1/2”

Sleeve Inseam:  16 1/2”

Bust: 44” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  42” around

Length:  31”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. This looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years
