Vintage Figgjo Flint Saga Cheese & Cracker Board Turi Design Norway 60s Mod

Brand Etsy

This is a cheese and cracker board, made in the Turi Saga pattern by Figgjo Flint of Norway. The piece has a whimsical graphic of a women dressed in traditional garb and a lady wearing a crown with a man. The Saga pattern was designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver subsequent to her design of the better known Lotte pattern in 1962. The board measures 6 1/4 by 12 3/8. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear, not even a utensil mark. The top is drilled with a hole that would be used to hang the piece for display,. Figgjo used a vitro-porcelain production technique, where the surface has a glass-like appearance, which made these pieces very durable. This is a wonderful piece, great addition to a collection in this pattern, or just a fun piece to hang for wall display!
