This is a vintage red vest made of a fine cotton corduroy. It is made in a classic style with two bottom pockets and a left chest pocket and a cutaway at the centre bottom of the vest. The red vest has a five brass bottom front. The exterior of the vest is entirely made of corduroy while the interior of the vest is lined in red acetate.
Age: probably 1960s
Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this red vest should fit a small to maybe a small medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 13” across the top
Chest: 38”, taken under the arms
Waist: 36” around
Overall length: 24“ to the points at the front
Condition: It is in very good condition with the exception of a small surface fray just below the chest pocket, very minor. Otherwise, defect free, would maybe benefit from a dry cleaning, although very usable as is.
This is a wonderful red vest - nice quality and attractive colour!
