Vintage Chanel Black Leather Belt 1980s Gold Toned Chain Buckle

This is an authentic black leather belt made by Chanel during the 1980s. The buckle is made in a gold plated metal in a chain form with black leather strips, an excellent go-with for a Chanel purse of similar design. I believe that the belt dates to around 1986 - I presently have available a cuff bracelet of similar design. The belt is quite wide, measuring 3 1/4” in width. It would accommodate a medium sized waist - the distance between the tongue and closest hole is 27” and the furthest hole, 30 1/4”. The piece is stamped “Chanel 2 Double C 8 Made in France 75/30”.
Condition: There is a hook and loop affixed to the bottom of the belt - I believe that a chain had originally hung there, but was removed. You could always replace this, although the belt might be easier to use as is. The closest hole is the one that saw use - I’ve shown a closeup of the hole (see last close-up photo), but this shouldn't bother anyone too much, especially if that is the hole that you would normally use. Otherwise, the belt has no pronounced wear - a few light scuffs and a indent mark where the buckle would contact the leather at the smallest hole setting, normal wear for a belt that has seen use. Please note the two metal pieces that were meant to have an attachment are very easily removed, the one that shows up on the left closes with a simple spring catch like you would have at the back of a necklace and the other simply needs a gentle prying with a small pair of pliers. I have left them as I found the belt in case you would prefer to add something yourself.
This is a beautifully made belt, sure to be noticed - exceptional Chanel quality!
