This is a 1980s era voile chiffon dress made in France by Celine Paris. The dress is made in a shirt style with button up front, shirt type collar and cuffed sleeves. The shoulders are padded in 1980s fashion and the sleeves are slightly blouson. It closes with five abalone shell buttons down the front, each engraved with the “Celine” double C logo. The skirt is lined with a blue slip while the upper dress is unlined and semi-transparent due to the sheer fabric. The sleeves are in a mid-forearm length and button at the cuff with a shell button like those down the front. The fabric is made in an eye catching black chevron pattern superimposed on alternating vertical stripes in colors of teal, gold yellow, purple, magenta, orange and chartreuse. There is a matching belt to cinch the waist if desired.
