This is a lovely vintage beaded evening bag featuring Point de Beauvais embroidery. The frame is made of enamelled brass and it has an enamelled pull clasp. There is one pocket built onto the side of the interior compartment, which is lined in black silk.
Age: Most likely 1940s / 50s
Label: None, but almost certainly of French origin
Size: This vintage beaded evening bag measures 8 1/2” wide by 6” in height, including the frame. The chain rope handle has a fall of 4 1/4”.
Condition: This vintage beaded evening bag is in very good condition with no noted defect - it has been very well preserved over the years.
