This is a wonderful quality 100% pure cashmere cardigan sweater made in Scotland by Ballantyne for a number of London based boutiques. I believe that it dates to the1960s. It is made in black and has a flower and leaf pattern on the front. The flowers are raised on the background and are in colours of purple, pink, red, white and green. The rest of the front is interspersed with leaves. It has a slight V neckline and long sleeves. It does up with seven buttons down the front. It is unlined and the cuffs and bottom are ribbed - the cuffs are meant to be turned.
