This is a vintage 1980s era skirt that was made in India of gauze cotton with gold metallic vertical thread striping. The skirt is printed with a floral pattern in tones of red, olive green, grey violet, blue, pink, black and white. The waistband is elasticized and the skirt is finely pleated and cut full. The skirt is unlined.

Sizing: One size is indicated, but this should fit a medium to large size - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the skirt into consideration:
Waist: 28” around unstretched, but stretches out to 37” around (maximum) - comfortable fit would be somewhere in between
Hips: Full, meant to fall loosely
Overall length: 35", measured flat
Condition: This skirt is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining - looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
This is a very pretty example of an Indian gauze cotton skirt - lovely colour tones and sparkly metallic threads!
