Vintage 1980s Courreges Sweater Jacket Made in France - Pale Yellow

This is a wonderful wool and acrylic blended Courreges sweater jacket made in France.  This Courreges sweater features a crisscross cable pattern throughout the body of the sweater with a knit window pane / ribbed pattern on the sleeves and lower sweater.  The sweater has a high neck and full cut dropped shoulder batwing style sleeves that have ribbed cuffs.  It closes with nine buttons down the front. The knit is in a heavier gauge and the sweater is fully lined.

Colour:  Pale Yellow in color a little hard to capture in the photos

Label:  Courreges Paris Made in France.  Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s.

Fabric: 60% Wool / 40% Acrylic - the lining is 90% nylon and 10% polyester

Sizing: Size B is indicated on this Courreges sweater, which is a Courreges size code - I think that it will fit a large size, but please note the following measurements for fit, noting the oversized style of the sweater:

Shoulders:  18 1/2” across the seams - note that the seams fall on the upper arms

Sleeves:  24 1/2” long from the shoulder seam

Bust:  36” around, estimated due to batwing sleeve

Bottom:  33” around, unstretched, stretches out to 42” max

Length:  29” long, measured flat

Condition:  This Courreges sweater is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour - looks like it saw little use, and was very well cared for.
